Lonely Planet

Here's a link to Lonely Planet's Things to Do in Buenos Aires.  I'm doing my best to check off their list.

 I live near Parque Lezama, #8 on the list & site of the first founding of Buenos Aires in 1536, now a complex of old monuments and neon-graffiti'd walls, the National Historical Museum and a tiny cartoonish carousel.  And from the north end, you can see an ornate orthodox church that looks suspiciously like Cinderella's castle.

In other news, still unemployed.  Still digging the new apartment & neighborhood.  Bought fresh steaks for the first time here---going to sizzle those up with balsamic, red wine, & bleu cheese in about 1/2 an hour.  Life is good.
